Leadership & management.
The earliest work here involved youth events and public awareness. Later came a scientific student chapter, laboratory training and the discipline of organizing complex work so that people could carry it forward.
The Youth Company.
My work with The Youth Company began with community outreach, including breast-cancer awareness activities. In 2013, I served as project manager for the Youth Change Everything conference, helping coordinate its programme, speakers, sponsors and delivery. I also served as volunteer manager and social-media coordinator for the Run the World Festival, coordinating recruitment, orientation, scheduling and communication for a volunteer operation involving approximately 1,000 people. These were early lessons in making events work through careful preparation and people working together.
Photographs from the 2013 community-health outreach and associated youth initiatives appear below.

The ACS student chapter.
I helped establish the American Chemical Society student chapter at Qatar University in 2015, serving as president for two years and subsequently supporting its development. The chapter was a way to make chemistry accessible beyond lectures: student-led events, public demonstrations, scientific talks and chances to work with instruments.
Among the documented activities were central-laboratory instrumentation training arranged for 29 students, Chem Talks and scientific events. The chapter's work and community-outreach approach were also described in a presentation at the 2018 ACS national meeting. These were collective achievements of the chapter and its members.

Quality & process management.
Organizing a chapter means keeping programmes, people and resources working together. Quality management gave me more formal methods for a related problem: how to make a process measurable, document decisions, reduce recurring failures and preserve repeatability when responsibility changes hands.
My quality-management work includes process mapping, SOPs, controlled documentation and KPI tracking. My training includes issuer-specific Lean Six Sigma Green, Yellow and White Belt programmes (AIGPE, 2025), ISO 9001:2015 QMS training (IBS, 2021), and further development in laboratory and environmental management standards.
Choose useful measures, distinguish drift from random change and document decisions.
Use SOPs, traceable records and corrective-action reasoning to preserve useful improvements.
These are individual training and practice records, not claims of institutional ISO accreditation, auditor licensure or ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt status.
The first international biomaterials conference in Qatar.
I was part of the organizing team for the First International Biomaterials Conference in Qatar, held on 6–7 May 2023 by Qatar University's Biomedical Research Center. Its focus was “Biomaterial, Biosensor and Microfluidics Technologies for Medical Applications,” bringing together laboratory and clinical perspectives on tissue engineering, nanomedicine, targeted delivery and microscale diagnostic systems.
My personal archive includes the conference organizer badge. It documents an organizing role within a larger institutional effort; the conference itself was convened by the Biomedical Research Center, with support from Qatar University and the Qatar National Research Fund.

Another chapter: Chem Squad.
Seven chemists have continued an independent scientific conversation since 2016. Their projects and friendships have a chapter of their own in this archive.
