Chemistry before mechanism.
Chemical synthesis and sensing taught me to ask what a molecular response establishes, and what it does not. The archive includes imine chemistry, optical probe investigations, and routes that did not yield the anticipated heterocycle.
2015: my first curcumin project
Early experimental work on curcumin as a colorimetric and fluorimetric cyanide probe, later published in Analytical Methods (2019). My contribution to this study was experimental; I do not claim its formal analysis or manuscript drafting.
